Compressed natural gas systems offered by CNG Interstate are after market performance parts and do not change your vehicles current fuel injection system, but most importantly our kits do not tamper with the Federal Emission Standards. The dual fuel setup will allow your vehicle to run on gasoline or natural gas with the flip of a switch.
As with any performance or after market products, we require having our trained and certified installation facilities equip your vehicle with your new CNG Kit.

CNG Interstate Is becoming the nations largest facilitator to educate the public, private business and government entities to the changes in the alternative fuel technologies. We have proven to be #1 in education, market research, codes and standards and technology programs. Our activities help achieve national goals of cleaner air, reduced dependence on imported oil and accelerated development and deployment of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) mostly focusing on Clean Natural Gas.
Our activities include:
- Educating fleet operators, State and National Transportation Safety directors, clean vehicle advocates and air quality and transportation policy-makers about the benefits of alternative fuel vehicles through seminars, media, and national conventions and expositions.
- Promote the Environmental benefits of Clean Natural Gas use in the automotive and transportation industries. NGVs (Natural Gas Vehicles) are the quickest and most logical solution for economic and environmental relief.
- Publish newsletters and other materials for use by clean vehicle advocates, policy-makers and alternative fuel vehicles industry participants in educating their constituent audiences
- Uphold and enforce the safety of Natural Gas Vehicles codes and standards for the US and create the largest infrastructure for retrofitting gaseous fuel vehicles in North America.
- Maintain Alternative Fuel Vehicles and related infrastructure, develop plans with input from representatives of government, industry and regional/state coalitions.
- Develop and exchange technical data between CNG Interstates Authorized and Certified Dealer Networks
